This Article is for You if:

  • You want to Move to A New City for your Fashion Business.

  • You are Looking for a Fresh Start.

  • You are looking for the Right Place where you can Network but also enjoy Nature and Live a Healthy Life.

If you’re looking for a move to a city that still has an outdoorsy vibe, Vancouver might be the place for you.
One of Canada’s biggest cities, Vancouver has it all: mountains, the ocean, high-rise buildings, and a booming industry. Homes for sale in Vancouver are limited and pricey. However - cities around Vancouver are marginally less expensive, with home prices averaging 20-40% less than in the city.

If you are looking for a new place to call home, whether you want to create your Dream in Fashion, set up your new Fashion Business, moving your actual Business in Fashion to a new place or looking for a fresh start, it's a good idea to look at your options and what you think is an ideal location - just for you.

Some things to consider are: do you want a big, urban city or a more quiet, quaint town?
Are you a hot weather person, cold weather person, or do you like a moderate, year-round spring-like climate?

That's why, I have highlighted 4 TIPS on How to Decide on a City to Move To follow your Dream in Fashion:

1) Job Market and The Fashion Industry.

Before you decide on your new city, consider the job market, the Fashion Industry and income potential. For many, landing a new job is what brings them to a new city in the first place. For others, it’s simply the job potential that entices them. To figure out job prospects in a new city, do thorough research of all companies in the area that offer jobs in your field.

2) Cost of Living.

Consider each city’s cost of living - home/rent prices, transportation, groceries, and entertainment. The higher the cost of living, the more money you’re going to need to earn to live comfortably in your new city. Cities with a higher cost of living may offer higher salaries - however, you will likely sacrifice living space when renting or buying a home.

3) Education.

Do you have children? If so, consider school districts in potential new cities.
You can look up school districts ranking and other information online.
Also, look into local museums, family-friendly learning opportunities, and other cultural activities in and around the city before moving with your family.

4) Crime Rate.

You will not find a place to live with no crime rates.
However, what will concern you as far as the crime rate? Research cities crime rates, what type of crime is happening - violent or property destruction? Violent crimes are the most dangerous forms of crime and often involve murder, rape, and assault.
Less dangerous crimes include vehicle theft and burglaries.

And what about You?

Are you happy in the place you live now?
